General Event Information:

The CRNZ Regularly Scheduled Fight Days are a full day event where we host a tournament bracket for both Beetle Weight (3lb) and Ant Weight (150g) Combat Robots at the Robot Rampage Arena in Onehunga, Auckland.

Spectators are always welcome & encouraged! Please come by and watch the carnage, talk to the teams, and learn about this exciting sport!

Entry is open to anyone who wants to submit a bot, the rules for building and participating can be found on our site at: https://combatrobotics.co.nz/pages/rules-regulations

Fees:
Beetleweight Bot - $20
Antweight Bot - $10
First time with a new bot - FREE

Fees can be paid at the event at the registration table or shop table either by cash or eftpos/credit.

The CRNZ Shop will also be present for replacement parts or new purchases at the event (either cash or eftpos/credit accepted)

Our Regular Fight Events follow this standard schedule:
10:30am Doors Open
11:00am Bot Rego / Weigh In / Safety
11:30am Fights begin

End time will depend on number of participants, and pit turnaround times,
but expected to be 5pm-6pm approx.

The event is held at the Robot Rampage Arena, which is at the address:
69F/A Onehunga Mall, Onehunga, Auckland 1061

The shop is around back, behind unit 69F. Just look for the Robot Rampage Sign. Take the laneway next to the sign, to get around back, then turn to the right and the arena is all the way at the end (you'll see the bay doors open, and other people around I'm sure).

CRNZ 2024 Nationals - August 24th/25th 2024

Note: To participate with a bot in the Nationals, Pre-Registration is required! Please fill out the following form to register: https://forms.gle/r6VRV3oup1N59BYJ9

The CRNZ Nationals is our largest yearly event in NZ for Combat Robotics! It's a full 2 day championship tournament for both Beetle Weight (3lb) and And Weight (150g) Combat Robots at the Te Atatū Peninsula Community Centre, in Auckland.

Spectators are FREE! And are always welcome & encouraged! Please come by and watch the carnage, talk to the teams, and learn about this exciting sport!

There are also several activities for youth and families to allow them to learn the safety rules, and get their Roboteer License through several skill building exercises letting them drive a real robot through multiple challenges, and ultimately conduct safe matches against other youth who have achieved their license throughout the weekend!

Lots of great activities, and learning opportunities, in addition to some exciting combat to watch in the main arenas!

Halloween Event!

This is a standard CRNZ Fight Day for 1.36kg Beetle Weight and 150g Ant Weight with a Halloween Twist!

For Halloween we usually have special side events for dressing up your bot, candy and treats, and some extra twists to change things up a bit

November Fight Day - November 30th 2024

Last Event of the Year!

This is a standard CRNZ Fight Day for 1.36kg Beetle Weight and 150g Ant Weight

As this is the last event of the year, we tend to do a few special things, and give out some end of year awards to bots. Additionally this is an opportunity for any special request matches
