25MM Drive Motor Flush Mount (2 Mounts)

Description

This is a cheap and easy, but sturdy flush motor mount for the common 25mm Motor used in Beetle weight robots .

The rubber O ring under the C mount prevents the motor from rattling free under battle conditions.

Note these have a (+-2mm) clearance and don’t sit flush to the ground. This allows you to tighten the bracket down as tight as possible.
We would recommend adding a washer to your bolts or screws to add diameter to the head and prevent it pulling through the mount holes under strain.

The mount is best placed overlapping the gearbox and motor casing thus providing added strength to the weakest point of the motor assembly.
Place the O-Ring in the small indentation made between the two cases. For the best possible strength use 2 mounts. One over the gearbox,
the other of the motor, if you can afford the added weight.
